What's your damage Heather?

'Heathers' is easily one of my favourite movies ever. So when I heard Hellz Bellz had used Heathers as inspiration for their 2009 holiday collection, I was super stoked!
Loving the attention to detail - although the colour palate used in Heathers included greens, yellows and blues, the accent colour in the Hellz collection is red - Heather's colour. It straight up reminds me of the scene where Veronica rips the bow out of Heather's hair and says 'Heather, my love, there's a new sherriff in town'. Blazers, checks and bows - god damn I wish it was winter in Australia so I could continue wearing this stuff. Not much luck of that over summer :(

New York: Chili Cheese Fries

Check out these babies. Pretty sure I'm completely addicted.

I was feeling the pressures of jetlag at 3am. I went for a walk around the East Village, and I found this ah-mazing blink-and-you'll-miss-it hole-in-the-wall Belgian fries joint right around the corner from my apartment. This is the the small size, which costs $5 and translates easily to more than a meal. It's the ultimate jetlag fix or the perfect alternative to a 3am lamb sandwich. Hand cut fries, cheese whiz and chili con carne. Delicious!

New York: Style Wars

Tomorrow night, Style Wars takes place here in NYC. Claw Money is one of the celebrity judges. Basically it's a fashion battle where invited designers style on the spot within a time limit. Kind of like an MC battle, but fashion. Might be worth a look...

I defs did not pack enough warm clothes. It's freezing! At least it looks like it'll be a little warmer Sunday/Monday...

Puppy Vs Terrierist

Being a big fan of Jeff Koons (above is his work Puppy), I was pretty buzzed when I came across Robert Bradford's latest work (via MOB Living). Below is his piece, Terrierist. It's made of pegs and other plastic bits.Below is Iron Dog, which is made of steel wool (I wonder if his pet name is Scratch? Get it? Boomtish).
But my favourite is Bradford's Dash piece:

New York: Yankees Ticker Tape Parade

It was a sea of blue and white. The atmosphere was electric. And then, right on cue, my camera ran out of batteries. But I found this flick which pretty much sums up the vibe of the parade...
