Writer Portrait #1: Onshow

For the past few months I've been planning a photo essay on Sydney graf writers. Basically the idea is to capture the personality of the writer, without giving away their identity.

It's a harder brief than I thought! And it seems like I've taken a million photos so far. Thankfully some of them have really blown me away. Here's a sneak peak...
I caught Onshow about 6 weeks ago or so. He's been one of my favourite subjects so far - but maybe that's because he lets me take lots of photos of him! For a young writer, he's talented, driven and respected. Not to mention genuine, funny (I won't forget the porn folder story anytime soon) and loves a longneck. Even though I've taken a zillion photos of him, there's one that still stands out as the perfect portrait of him right now.
